Atlantic Aviation Group DOA Completes first STC project
Atlantic Aviation Group (AAG) Design Services are delighted to announce the recent successful completion and approval of an EASA approved STC (No. 10079698) package for 189Y Configuration for a B737-800 series aircraft. As part of this package, AAG DOA has included the installation of its in-house designed and approved G7 Galley.
With the release of Certification Memorandum CM-21. A-CS-001 Issue2 the installation and reconfiguration of all aircraft cabins, complying with CS25.562 and using 16G approved equipment, are now considered as Major (STC) changes.
Having only received its STC scope approval during November 2021, the issue of this STC approval is a reflection of the growth and development of the AAG DOA since its inception in 2017. Chief Aviation Services Officer at Atlantic Aviation Group, Eva O’Keeffe, welcomed the news by saying: “This achievement is a testament to the extensive knowledge, hard work and dedication of our Part 21 Design team who are focused on the continuous growth and development of our services.”
The AAG DOA team were delighted to work with the customer, Avolon, and the MRO, FL Technics throughout this project.
As trusted design and engineering partners with an established history of maintaining and modifying aircraft, Atlantic Aviation Group has built a strong reputation for providing innovative design solutions to our customers.
