AAG features in RTE One Programme

RTE camera's filming at Atlantic Aviation Group

On Monday September 18th at 9:30 p.m., Atlantic Aviation Group will be featured in a new programme on RTE 1 titled “The Classroom Divide”.

This programme is presented by RTE’s Joe Duffy as he examines Ireland’s education system 50 years on from the introduction of free secondary schools. Atlantic Aviation Group are very excited to feature in the programme and to give an insight into our Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship

Interviewed in the programme are our very own past and present apprentices – Florian Byrnes and Jake O’Halloran. Florian is an award-winning Aircraft Mechanic who just completed his apprenticeship with AAG last year and Jake is currently in his 4th and final year of his apprenticeship with AAG.

Also interviewed in the programme is our Non-Executive Director Connor Flanagan. Connor speaks candidly about his own experience with the education system and speaks about the perception of apprenticeships in the Irish educational system today.
