Shannon based Atlantic Aviation Group (AAG) have announced that their CAMO & Technical Services division have recently obtained Bermudan Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) approval (BDA/CAMO/190).

Bermuda is an Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom, and the BDCA is subject to safety oversight surveillance by the Air Safety Support International (ASSI), a subsidiary of the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Kingdom who ensures compliance with international aviation safety standards. Bermuda registered aircraft are based in and operated throughout the world. Just under half of registered aircraft are corporate and private executive types and there are presently in excess of 700 aircraft on the Bermuda Register.

News of the approval comes as AAG’s Technical Services Director Mike Byrt revealed that AAG are currently recruiting for Airworthiness Engineers to join their expanding team. “We are working closely with a number of key customers to provide solutions to their ongoing needs. We are delighted that granting of Bermudan approval along with the addition of new Airworthiness Engineers to the team will ensure we will continue to provide a world class service into the future.”
