Shannon based MRO Atlantic Aviation Group have announced this week that they have been selected by Primera Air to perform heavy checks on three of their Boeing 737NG fleet. The first C check is scheduled for later this year.
The deal, which was finalised at the MRO Europe show in London last week, sees Primera Air return to Atlantic Aviation Group following their very successful maintenance programme on two of their aircraft earlier this year.
Speaking at the MRO Europe show, Primera Air Director Technical Operations and Fleet Development Odd Gomsrud said, “We are delighted to work with Atlantic Aviation Group again following such a successful maintenance programme earlier this year. Their excellent quality, TAT and flexibility were major factors in the decision-making process.”
Atlantic Aviation Group CEO Shane O’Neill said, “We are delighted to welcome our friends at Primera Air back to Shannon again this Winter. We are determined to build and develop this partnership by continuing to wow them with our world class customer centric approach to maintenance.”
The maintenance program is due to begin in December and run through to February 2018.
