QQ LEVEL 7 BSc in AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING

The Atlantic Aviation Group and TUS Mid-West jointly offer a comprehensive 28-month full-time QQ Level 7 Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance engineering.

This programme has been carefully crafted to provide trainee aircraft maintenance engineers with the highest quality education and training to succeed in the global aircraft maintenance industry.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a QQ Level 7 Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance engineering. from TUS Mid-West, as well as fulfil the requirements to apply for an EASA Category A1 Aircraft Maintenance License from the Irish Aviation Authority. Additionally, the programme equips graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to complete 70% of the B1.1 aircraft maintenance license modules and 58% of the B2 aircraft maintenance license modules.

This full-time programme is delivered over 28 months in the Atlantic Aviation Training Academy in Shannon and consists of three stages.

Career Options

Graduates from this programme can find employment as:

  • Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in aircraft base maintenance facilities.
  • Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in airline line maintenance.
  • Complete B1.1 and or the B2 licence, increase certification privileges. Add a type course.
  • Tech Services / Continued Airworthiness Management
